What applies when you register for an event or buy a ticket on Live.
In effect from 1 October 2026.
Your ticket is with the organiser
The organiser decides what the event is, what it costs and who may come, and is responsible for it happening as described. Live runs the registration, the payment and the door.
Refunds
- Refunds follow the policy the organiser publishes on the event page. Ask for one from your account.
- If the event is cancelled, you get back everything you paid.
- On other refunds, the ticket price is refunded and the service fee isn't, unless the organiser chose to absorb the fees.
Paying
You see the full price, including any fees, before you pay. Your tickets are held for 25 minutes while you pay; after that they go back on sale.
Tickets and the door
Each ticket's QR code lets one person in, once: a second scan is refused. Keep it to yourself. If you give a ticket to someone else, it's theirs to use.
Your details
The organiser sees what you fill in on their form. The Privacy policy explains the rest.
